”The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.” Psalm 29:3-4
Every day we need to be reminded about the power of our God – especially when we are going through a difficult season. We need to remember that God is bigger than our problems. We need to remember that God is bigger than our situation. The human mind cannot comprehend the power of God. If He wanted us to have a mind that could comprehend all things, He would have given us such a mind.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will understand in our soul that You are bigger than any situation we can endure on this earth. I pray that we will have a desire to hear Your Voice as Your Voice is full of majesty. I pray that we will recognize Your Voice and the fact that Your Power is always available – we just simply need to ask for it. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
”Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart.” Psalm 24:3-4
Clean hands is such a vivid metaphor. All of us have gotten our hands dirty. All of us have sinned and made mistakes. But clean hands is just a prayer away. Asking God to forgive us for our sins and help us not to do what we know we should not do is just a prayer away. As we draw nearer to the Lord, keeping our hands clean longer will be easier to do.

Heavenly Father, I pray that You will help us to be quick to confess to You when our hands get dirty. I pray that You will help us to want to have clean hands. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
”Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me.” Psalm 25:4-5
Do you have a desire to know the ways of the Lord? If you do, He will show you His ways. If you don’t, praying for that desire is a very good thing. We need to know the ways of God if we are going to live life to the fullest. We need to know the ways of God if we are going to have victory over all our circumstances.

Heavenly Father, I pray that You will teach us Your ways. I pray that You will instill a desire in each of us to follow Your leading and know the truth in all things. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amencommercial jumping castle for sale.
”He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.'” Psalm 91:1-2
Psalm 91 is known as the Prayer of Protection. It is a great psalm to type out and keep with you – especially if you are going through a rough time. It is an excellent prayer to send to a loved one in the military or on a police force or a member of afire department. This is the psalm I said every day for the ten years I was in “the pit.” It is sixteen verses of power and comfort. It is one of my favorite psalms. Read it today and see if it doesn’t become one of your favorites as well.

Heavenly Father, I ask for your protection Lord for our loved ones, especially our children. I ask Lord for your protection for the members of our country’s military who are defending our right of freedom in dangerous situations around the world. I ask Lord for your protection for our police officers and fire department members who put themselves in harm’s way every day for all of us. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
”Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.” Romans 12:15
This is a simple command, but how many times in our natural jealousy, do we forget to rejoice for those around us who are enjoying good fortune when we may not be. How many times in the busyness of life, do we forget to say a prayer for the woman is grieving the loss of her child, the man who is grieving the loss of his child, the lost and hurting sibling who is trying to live life without his brother or sister. This verse is a good reminder of how to do life right.zorb ball

Heavenly Father,we pray for every mother who is grieving the loss of her child. For every father who is grieving the loss of his child. For every sibling who is grieving the loss of their brother or sister. We pray for everyone who is missing a loved one or friend who is no longer here with them. We pray for comfort. We pray for peace. We pray for strength. We pray for the loving arms of Jesus to be wrapped around them. We pray that they will be carried when they cannot walk. We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
”God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters road and be troubled. Though the mountains shake with its swelling.” Psalm 46:1-3
What a wonderful reminder that God is always present. He never sleeps. He does not slumber. We do not need to be fearful. We can rest assured that no matter what is happening on online casino earth, God is still on His heavenly throne. We need to take this to heart. We need to hold unto this when fear tries to grip us.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will truly understand Your Power. I pray that we will understand in the depth of our souls that you are a very present help in times of trouble. I pray that when we start to despair, you will remind us of Your promise to be with us. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

TUESDAY, April 10th
”Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we become new. Our sins are washed away and we get a “do over.” It is not that we are not going to ever sin again. We are human so we will still make mistakes, but we have His help in all things – even overcoming our daily bad habits and sins. As we press in with our relationship with Jesus, we won’t want to do the things we did before. We will want to be more like Him each day.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will understand more fully that we are a new creation in Jesus Christ. I pray that we will strive to be more like Jesus each day. I pray that you will help us in our battle with our bad habits and sinful ways. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
”But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.” James 3:8-10
So think about it. Do you bless your life or curse your life with the words you say? Do you say things like – I will never have any money. I will never get a good job. I will never meet a nice man. I will never amount to anything. I will always be a loser. You have a choice with every sentence you say to either bless your own life or curse your own life. Let me tell you something you may not understand or know – God cannot override the negative words that come out of your mind. So be careful what you say. If you catch yourself saying something negative, simply say out loud “I cancel those words.” This is one of the most important lessons you need to learn – to take to heart.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will bless our lives, our children’s lives and our futures with the words that we speak. Help us to say positive words and quickly cancel negative words that we speak over our own lives and that of our children. Let us each understand the importance and power of the spoken word. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

SUNDAY, APRIL 8th (Easter Sunday)
”This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before. That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near. And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid. Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment. Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, ‘Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying “The Son of Man must be delivered into the Hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” Luke 23:52-56 24:1-7
Alleluia!Jesus rose from the dead so that we could have eternal life!

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will all be grateful to the risen Jesus for his great sacrifice on our behalf. I pray that we will shout Alleluias so loudly that all of heaven will hear us. I pray that our hearts will be filled with gratefulness for the empty tomb. I pray that churches throughout the world will be filled with people coming to find the risen Jesus and they will find Him. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

SATURDAY, APRIL 7th (Holy Saturday)
”Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If you are the Christ, save Yourself and us. But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, ‘Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus, ‘Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.’ And Jesus said to him, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.'” Luke 24:39-43
As Jesus was being crucified to save the sinners of the world from having to pay for their own sins, one of the two criminals who were being crucified on either side of Jesus, asked to be remembered when Jesus went to heaven to be with God. Jesus reply that the criminal would indeed be in paradise with Him is what all of us sinners can rejoice about. Jesus forgives all sinners – no matter what the sin – no matter what bad choices we have made here on earth. Grab hold of that. Nothing disqualifies you from eternal life as long as you confess Jesus as your personal Savior.

Heavenly Father, I pray for everyone on this earth who has not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior. I pray that you will show us how to minister to those who feel that they are not worthy. I pray that all of our family members will join us in heaven. I pray that everyone who has lost their way – will find their way through Jesus Christ. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

FRIDAY, APRIL 6th (Good Friday)
”And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.’ And they divided His garments and cast lots.” Luke 23:33-34
Jesus was being our perfect example as He literally breathed his last breath. He is being crucified – willingly sacrificed for our sins so that we could all spend eternity in heaven with our Heavenly Father – and He is interceding for forgiveness for those who nailed him to the cross. Jesus knew the importance of forgiveness – something so hard for us mere mortals.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you will give us the strength to forgive those who have wronged us. I pray that you will give us the heart of Jesus to have compassion. I pray that we will forgive others as you forgive us and help us to not only forgive each other trespasses but let go oft he se wrongs. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

THURSDAY, APRIL 5th (Maundy Thursday)
”If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.” John 13:14-17
When Jesus and his disciples had gathered in the upper room for what is known as The Last Supper – the passover feast before Jesus would be crucified for our sins – he washed the feet of his disciples. This act was done as an example to them that they were to be servants – as He was a servant. The Jewish people had expected the son of God to come and act like a king not a servant and that is why so many of the Jewish people at the time were confused by the actions of Jesus. His love and acts of service still amaze those who know Him.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will all strive to be more like Jesus each and every day. That You will give us all a servant’s heart to humble ourselves and serve our fellow human beings on this earth. To love as Jesus loved. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
”Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Are you gripped with fear? Do you play out every scenario in life to the ultimate worst that can happen? Do you worry about everything – big things and not so big things? God says He will uphold you with His righteous right hand. What a powerful metaphor. What a glorious thought to keep in your mind when the fears start to come. Push them away and remember God will strengthen you.

Heavenly Father, I thank you that Your Word promises that You will give us strength for every situation we face. I thank you that Your Righteous Hand upholds us. Let us all believe that to the core of our being. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
”But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the word, this one will be blessed in what he does.” James 1:22-25
The first step is to read the word of God. The second step is to follow the word of God. To make God’s word our manual for our life. To receive God’s law in our hearts and to let it change us, transform us, renew us, guide us, strength us. Hearing God’s word without doing God’s law is as useless as the person sitting on a couch eating bonbons watching an exercise video! It is the one who is actually doing the exercises in the exercise video who will receive the benefit.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will all be doers of your word. That we will take your word to heart and allow it to transform our hearts and our lives. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
”O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down. And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. Psalm 139:1-4
Are you trying to hide from God? Well, you might as well stop trying and realize that there is no hiding from God. He knows who you are, where you live, what you are doing and what you are thinking – and yet He still wants to be in relationship with you and with me. That is a pretty amazing concept to understand but once we do, we understand the meaning of grace.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will understand that You know us to the very core – better than we know ourselves. You know our every thought, deed and desire and yet love us unconditionally. We thank You for your grace, your patience and your love for each and every one of us. Teach us to submit our lives to You more fully each day. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Sunday, April 1st
”Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vegenance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19
It is said of God that He is the perfect accountant. We may think that this person or that person gets away with doing wrong, but we can take heart because our God never sleeps, never takes a day off and sees and knows all things. We can be comforted that all those who do evil will pay for their misdeeds.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will set aside our desire for payback from those who do us wrong and realize that You are truly the perfect accountant, and we can rest knowing that every wrong will be judged by You. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Saturday, March 31st
”Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious.” Psalm 66:1
So are you a person who praises God for all that is right and good in your life oris your communication with God only about what you don’t have, how thing should be but are not and what you need to have to be happy in this life. If you woke up this morning, you have something to praise God about. When we learn to live a life of praise even if things are not the way we wish they were, we will find joy even in the valleys of life. Try it – it works!

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will all give You the praise, honor and glory that You deserve. Fill us with hearts of gratefulness and out of that gratefulness, let our praises rise up to the heavens and touch Your heart. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen

Friday, March 30th
”Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” Peter 5:6-7
Aren’t you glad that God’s hands are mighty and that He cares about you? Once we really get a hold of these two concepts, all of our problems, cares and concerns will take their proper place in our lives. Once we realize that God is bigger than our problems and that He really cares about what we care about, life will be an easier road to navigate.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will all take these words to heart. I pray that we will grasp just how mighty Your Hands are and that You care about each one of us. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Thursday, March 29th:
”If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”James 1:5
Who doesn’t need wisdom to deal with the daily decisions of life – which job offer to accept – which colleges to apply to – which house to purchase. There are big and small decisions to make each and every day. Each decision is important. Have your ever thought about asking God for wisdom? Isn’t it comforting to know that God’s wisdom is only a prayer away, and God promises that you will have the wisdom you need as soon as you ask for it!

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will all remember to seek your wisdom each and every day as we navigate our way through life. I pray that you will give each of us the wisdom you gave to Solomon. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Wednesday, March 28th
”The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
Do you have fears that keep you up at night? Do you have fears that are paralyzing your life? Do you have fears that are robbing you of your joy? Fears about how you are going to feed your family, fears that your mourning will never end, fears that your very best is not good enough? Hold on to this passage. The Lord is your strength. Give up trying to handle life’s problems in your own strength. You were never meant to.

Heavenly Father, I pray that we will understand the great joy of relying on your strength to get us through this journey called life. Help us to break the bondage of fear over our lives and live in victory and freedom. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
